General Policy: You can visit most portions of our Website without telling us who you are and without revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself (“Personal Information”). The only information we collect from a typical Website visit is information that cannot be used to specifically identify you (“Non-Personal Information”), as more fully described below.
Personal Information We Collect: The only time we collect Personal Information is when you voluntarily provide such information, for example, when you contact us with inquiries, respond to one of our surveys, participate by sharing your story of partnership, signup for our email newsletter, and as otherwise described below. While we encourage you to voluntarily share Personal Information with us, since we can’t build the movement of partnerships without you, it is always your decision and at your discretion.
Non-Personal Information We Collect: We also collect certain non-personal information (data in a form that does not support direct association with any specific person or individual) by automated means when you visit the Website. Much of this information is collected through the use of third-party tracking services, which includes Google Analytics. The information collected may include usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of users to the Website, pages visited, web browsing histories, your location and device, social networking activities and similar data. When gathered, this this data is used in the aggregate, and not in a manner that is intended to identify you personally, as further described below. This type of aggregate information may be shared with third parties at any time, including advertisers and marketers. In addition to the third-party tracking services mentioned above, we also collect this information through various other means, including "cookies," "web beacons" and IP addresses, as further explained below.
Cookies; Scripts - A cookie is a piece of information that a web server may place on your computer when you visit a Website. Cookies are commonly used by websites to improve the user experience. Many cookies last only through a single Website session, or visit. Others may have an expiration date, or may remain on your computer until you delete them. We may also employ the use of scripts on the website. Scripts are small computer programs embedded within web pages that give those pages extra functionality.
Most browsers will tell you how to stop accepting new cookie/scripts, how to be notified when you receive a new cookie/script, and how to disable existing cookies/scripts. You can also increase your control over scripts and cookies with a multitude of browser plug-ins such as NoScript, Ghostery, Lightbeam and Do Not Track Plus. Please note, however, that without cookies you may not be able to take full advantage of all the features on our Website.
Web Beacons - Our Website may contain "web beacons" (also know as Internet tags, pixel tags and clear GIFs). These web beacons allow third parties to obtain information such as the IP address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the beacon appears, the URL of the page on which the beacon appears, the time the page containing the beacon was viewed, the type of browser used to view the page, and the information in cookies set by the third party.
IP Addresses - When you visit and interact with the Website, third parties with whom we have contracted to provide services for us may collect Internet Protocol addresses (each an "IP Address"), as well as browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and page navigation. An IP Address is a unique identifier number that certain electronic devices use to identify and to communicate with each other on the Internet; your Internet Service Provider automatically assigns an IP Address to the computer that you are using.
How We Use the Information:
Non-Personal Information: We use the Non-Personal Information collected to generate statistics and measure Website activity in order to improve the quality of our Website for our visitors. We also gather this information to track Website visitor movement in the aggregate, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Our goal in gathering this information is to learn how our supporters and the public are using our Website. We may use any of this information for other lawful purposes.
Aggregated Personal Information: In an ongoing effort to accomplish our mission and understand Website visitors better, Plus Wonder may conduct research on its visitors’ demographics and interests based on the Personal Information and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and Plus Wonder may share this aggregate information with its affiliates. Plus Wonder Inc may also disclose aggregated visitor statistics in order to describe the size, scope, and demographics of the movement we are building. This aggregate information does not identify you personally.
When We Share the Information:
Plus Wonder is not interested in selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. Event, Share Your Story and Signup Pages: We do not share the information you’ve given us on Event, Share Your Story and Signup pages with unaffiliated groups or individuals without your explicit permission. For event tickets, story submissions, news update signup or surveys you’ve signed or completed, we treat your name, city, address and comments as private information. We will not publish your details, but may use them for targeted updates regarding events or other initiatives we undertake.
Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: Plus Wonder sometimes hires other companies to perform certain functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases, and processing payments. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we take precautions to provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your Personal Information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Plus Wonder Inc, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of Website visitors or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
Your Information and Your Choices: To the extent required by law, we provide you with reasonable access to the personally identifiable information you provide to us. Upon appropriate written request we will update or amend your information, but we reserve the right to use any information previously obtained to verify your identity or take other actions that we believe are appropriate and lawful. We will endeavor to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Please note we may need to retain certain information for record keeping purposes, and there may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed from such locations. Finally, please note that we are not responsible for removing or deleting information from the databases of third parties (such as service providers) with whom we have shared information about you.
Account Creation: By registering an account/password for news/update sign-up, attending an event, buying personalised books or “Share Your Story,” we may also create an account for you on affiliated platforms so we can ensure you receive the requested information and confirmations via these functions.
Security: Plus Wonder makes efforts to protect the Personal Information provided via the Website from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the Website may not be secure. Plus Wonder does not sell or otherwise disclose such visitor payment information outside the organization.

In order to improve engagement with our network, we may track whether the emails we send to you are being opened and whether the links they contain are being clicked. While the vast majority of communications will come to you direct from Plus Wonder, some may come from trusted affiliates in special cases, such as organizing events that further Plus Wonder’s mission in your area.
