Bridging Divides event in NYC

We are honored to invite you to a Plus Wonder event in New York City in partnership with Parents Circle – Families Forum, who are dedicated to reconciliation and peace. They are a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization of over 750 bereaved families who have lost loved ones to the ongoing violence.

Speakers include:

Colum McCann, award-winning & New York Times bestselling author, will moderate the conversation

Robi Damelin, Israeli mother and PCFF Director of International Relations, whose son was killed by a Palestinian sniper in 2002

Layla Alsheikh, Palestinian mother whose 6-month-old son died when she was prevented from reaching a hospital by Israeli soldiers

Yonatan Zeigen, an Israeli son whose mother, peace activist Vivian Silver, was killed on October 7

Arab Aramin, a Palestinian brother whose sister was killed at the age of 10

These speakers will share their origin stories of personal loss and discuss the profound decision to transform pain into hope for a better future.

Our program will also feature music by the wonderful Morley Shanti Kamen.
