Plus Wonder was thrilled to attend the ESSDACK conference called Bridging to Resilience 2025 (B2R25) April 8-9, 2025.
The Bridging to Resilience conference is about coming together with educators, social workers, health care professionals, faith-based communities, and other helping professionals to share conversations, ideas, strategies, tools, and connections to help build resilience and heal trauma in our classrooms and communities.
The Education Council presented a dynamic workshop on how to cultivate strong connections amongst students, teachers, and communities using the powerful Six Degrees of Connection. This framework comes from the life-tested wisdom of our 65+ partnerships of purpose, including President Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter, Archbishop Desmond & Leah Tutu, and many others working to make the world a better place.
We had the incredible pleasure of meeting many inspiring educators and providing our educational toolkits, designed to foster empathy, curiosity, and collaboration in the classrooms. Our interactive workshop equipped participants with practical tools to strengthen relationships within their communities.
