Our cofounder Jean Oelwang was honored to speak at the 10th annual Sun Valley Forum in Idaho, celebrating the theme “All In for Nature: Building a Resilient World.”
In her keynote talk “Becoming Unstoppable — Partnering, Purpose & Urgency,” Jean discussed what it takes to become a true guardian of our planet in an age of urgency. Merging her experience with the Planetary Guardians along with her focus on partnership, she shared how deep partnerships and purpose-driven leadership can align humanity with the systems of the Earth. It offered a guidepost for bold action grounded in science and fueled by collective courage to protect our shared future.
At the event, Jean was humbled to be the recipient of the Catalyst Award — a recognition of her visionary leadership and decades-long commitment to people and planet. She always credits the many collaborators she has worked alongside to support a more bold & collaborative future. She truly embodies the spirit of partnering in how she connects and builds with others to catalyze change on the world’s most pressing issues.
