What is a connection circle?

pexels-cottonbro-4881619

Connection Circles are intimate gatherings—typically of 2 to 12 explorers—who convene regularly to foster curiosity, nurture connection, and embark on shared journeys of discovery, inspired by the Six Degrees of Connection.

In a typical Connection Circle, members dive deep into a specific degree, using curated prompts as springboards for reflection and dialogue.

Connection Circles are open to all who seek to cultivate a life rich in wonder and connection, fostering a space where exploring our interconnectedness leads to profound growth.

Why host a connection circle?

The ideal Connection Circle host is one who embodies curiosity, fosters inclusive dialogue, and embraces the unfolding journey of shared discovery.

They are not a lecturer, but a facilitator, who understands that the power of the circle is in the collective wisdom of the group.

They curate meaningful experiences and are committed to nurturing ongoing connection between sessions, building a supportive and connected community.

The Plus Wonder Difference

  • Focus on Wonder: Unlike traditional networking, mentorship, or discussion circles, Connection Circles prioritize curiosity and exploration, leading to profound personal and collective insights.
  • Interconnectedness: The Six Degrees of Connection framework provides a unique lens for understanding our place in the world, fostering a sense of belonging and shared humanity.
  • Guided Discovery: Curated prompts and themes provide a structured yet flexible framework for exploration, allowing for organic discoveries and unexpected insights.
  • Authenticity: Encourage genuine sharing and deep listening, fostering a space of vulnerability and trust, where participants can truly be themselves.
  • Portfolio of Wonder: Beyond a resume line, Plus Wonder seeks to share stories of Connection Circle hosts, helping to build your “Portfolio of Wonder.” This demonstrates your ability to cultivate community, facilitate transformative experiences, and guide others on a journey of self-discovery. It is a tangible example of your commitment to fostering connection and igniting curiosity, showcasing your capacity to create spaces where potential is unlocked and shared humanity is celebrated.
